What happens to what you send us.
Last updated October 2026. This notice is written in plain language. Pembroke's full privacy policy and California-specific disclosures will be linked here before public launch; until then, this page describes how this website actually works.
What we collect
Only what you type into the quote application, the X-Mod review request or the contact form: your name and contact details, your business details, and the insurance information you choose to share. The quote application also saves your in-progress answers in your own browser so you can come back to them; that copy never leaves your device until you submit.
Website analytics
We measure how the site is used with our own first-party events (for example, that a page was viewed, a quote application was started, or a question in the FAQ was opened) and, if enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free. These events record the page, the referring site, the campaign tags in the link you clicked, and a random identifier that lives only in the current browser tab. They never include your name, email, phone number, license details, payroll or anything you type into a form, and they are kept only in Pembroke's own systems. No advertising networks receive this data.
The license checker
The license check tool looks up the number you enter in our copy of the Contractors State License Board's public License Master file. We do not store the numbers people look up and we do not create a sales record from a lookup; we count only how many lookups happen and whether they found a match. Business names, cities and license details shown are CSLB's public records.
Contractor bonds
When online bond purchasing is active, the bond application and payment are handled by our surety partner on its own systems under its own privacy policy; card details are never entered on this website. The interim bond request form on this site is handled like our other forms.
Where it goes
When you submit a form, the information is sent to Pembroke Insurance Solutions and recorded in Pembroke's agency management system so a licensed producer can respond. If you already have a record with Pembroke, your submission is added to it rather than creating a duplicate.
What we don't do
- We don't accept file uploads on this site. Loss runs, rating worksheets and policy documents are requested separately through a secure channel after you authorize it.
- We don't retrieve anything from WCIRB, your carrier or any rating bureau based on a website submission. That requires your written authorization.
- We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with carriers until you have asked us to seek quotes.
- We don't use third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Your choices
